In the first quarter of 2025, the MOBA gaming scene on Android in Finland presented intriguing trends. According to Sensor Tower, the top five MOBA apps demonstrated varied performance metrics in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Brawl Stars from Supercell showed a fluctuating revenue pattern, starting strong with roughly $52K in early January and stabilizing around $18.9K by the end of March. Downloads peaked at 1.5K in late February, while active users saw a gradual decline from 214.8K to 174K over the quarter.
Squad Busters, also by Supercell, experienced modest revenue, with a high of approximately $1.4K at the start of the year. Downloads were relatively low, peaking at 323 in mid-February, and active users showed a sharp decline after an initial surge in early March.
Pokémon UNITE saw consistent download numbers, with a noticeable increase to 194 in mid-March. Revenue remained low, peaking at $178 in early March. Active users hovered around 2.5K to 2.8K, reflecting a stable player base.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang maintained a steady revenue stream, with a significant uptick to $4.5K in late March. Downloads ranged from 62 to 107 weekly, while active users decreased slightly from 2.2K to 1.8K throughout the quarter.
League of Legends: Wild Rift had a consistent download rate, peaking at 112 in early January. Revenue started at $1.2K and saw a decline, stabilizing at $506 by the end of March. The active user count remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 1.1K to 1.3K.
