Spotify: Music and Podcasts from Spotify AB saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.8M in late March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of around 140K mid-January, while weekly active users remained strong, with a steady rise to 34.8M by the quarter's end.
Pandora - Music & Podcasts experienced varied weekly revenue, topping at $1.6M in early January. Downloads showed a gradual increase, peaking at about 85K in March. Active users saw a rise, reaching over 11M by late March.
Apple Music reported a notable spike in revenue, reaching $321K in late February. Download trends peaked at 56K in early March, while active users remained relatively stable around 1.2M throughout the quarter.
SoundCloud: The Music You Love exhibited a rise in revenue, with a peak of $166K in late February. Downloads were consistent, with a high of 48K in March. The app's active users increased to over 2.5M by the end of March.
Amazon Music: Songs & Podcasts saw a revenue peak of $180K in late February. Downloads hit a high of 68K in March, and active users increased to approximately 3.8M by the quarter’s close.
