2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the top five paid games on the Android platform in the United States exhibited varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. These insights, derived from Sensor Tower data, provide a snapshot of the gaming landscape.
Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! from Mojang saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $265K by the end of March. Downloads surged mid-quarter, reaching 8.6K in mid-February. Active users fluctuated, starting at 658K and ending at 688K.
Balatro by Playstack experienced a decline in revenue, starting at $180K and dropping to $50K by quarter's end. Weekly downloads also saw a downward trend, from 3.2K to 2.4K. However, active users consistently rose, ending the quarter at 78K.
Bloons TD 6 from ninja kiwi showed a spike in revenue in early February, reaching $59K, before stabilizing around $40K. Downloads peaked at 2.2K in early February, while active users started at 83K and ended at 72K.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp C by Nintendo Co., Ltd. saw a significant drop in revenue from $31K to $5K throughout the quarter. Downloads fell from 1.8K to 548, with active users decreasing from 11K to 8.7K.
Finally, Heads Up! from Warner Bros. International Enterprises maintained steady revenue, hovering around $10K to $11K towards the end of the quarter. Downloads increased to 17K in mid-February, while active users fluctuated, starting at 140K and ending at 81K.
