In the first quarter of 2025, the personal finance app landscape on Android in Turkey showcased various trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the top five apps, with data provided by Sensor Tower.
Monay: Birikim & Para Yönetimi experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $337 in early January before declining to $88 by the end of March. Downloads saw an initial surge to over 4.2K in early January, tapering off to just over 900 by the quarter's close. Active users showed a similar pattern, starting at 6.3K, peaking at 14K in February, and decreasing to 2.2K by March.
Money Tracker-Expense & Budget showed steady weekly revenue, ranging from $143 to $385. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 1.5K, with a slight increase to over 2K at the quarter's end. Active users consistently grew from 5K to over 7.6K by March.
ParaPlus did not generate revenue but maintained a steady download rate. Starting the quarter with 774 downloads, numbers peaked at 928 by the end of March.
Save Money: Budget, Expense saw a varied download pattern, starting with 1.2K in January, dropping to 108 in February, and rising again to 1.5K by the end of March. Active users increased from 542 to 1.8K during the quarter.
Lastly, Daily spending, although newer to the market, recorded a significant spike in downloads to over 5.1K in early March, before settling at 793. Active users grew from 459 to over 2K before stabilizing at around 1K.
