In the first quarter of 2025, the pixel game genre on Android in Latin America showcased varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the top five applications:
Tomb of the Mask: Old Maze from Playgendary Limited saw weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at nearly 484K in early January, before stabilizing around 320K to 360K towards the quarter's end. Its weekly revenue remained consistent, averaging around $1.1K to $1.2K. Active users started at over 5.1M, experiencing a slight decline to about 4.2M by the end of March.
Cup Heroes by VOODOO experienced an upward trend in weekly downloads, reaching 177K in mid-March. Revenue varied slightly, starting at $3.5K and stabilizing around $2.7K. Active users increased steadily, ending the quarter at approximately 563K.
Melon Sandbox from playducky.com maintained a steady revenue increase, peaking at $2.5K in early March. Downloads saw a peak of 148K in February, while active users hovered around 1.6M to 1.7M throughout the quarter.
Dan the Man: Action Platformer by Halfbrick Studios experienced a decline in downloads, starting at 147K and decreasing to about 82K by the end of March. Revenue remained consistent, averaging around $600. Active users showed a downward trend, starting at 391K and ending at 288K.
Lastly, Pixel Art - Color by Number from Easybrain had stable weekly revenue, fluctuating between $163 and $347. Downloads were highest in late December at 176K, tapering off to 93K towards the end of the quarter. Active users remained around 1.1M to 1.5M.
