In the first quarter of 2025, the pixel games category on the Android platform in the Netherlands saw notable trends. Here's a closer look at the top five apps and their performance metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Pixel Art - Color by Number by Easybrain experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at about $309 in mid-January and declining to $31 by the end of March. Downloads started strong at 3.3K in early January but gradually decreased to 1.4K by the end of the quarter. The app maintained a solid base of weekly active users, ranging from 37K in early January to 25.8K at quarter-end.
Melon Sandbox from playducky.com saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, ending at $165 in March. Downloads peaked at 2K in early February before decreasing to 898 by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, peaking at 34.6K in early February, with a slight dip to 31K by quarter-end.
Cup Heroes by VOODOO showed consistent revenue, reaching $1.1K in mid-March. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 1.7K in early March, while active users grew from 5.9K in early January to 7.2K in mid-March, before settling at 6.3K.
Tomb of the Mask: Old Maze from Playgendary Limited had modest revenue, with a notable increase to $72 in the last week of March. Downloads started at 1.8K, dropping to 945 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a downward trend, from 22.7K in early January to 19.1K by March's end.
Lastly, Galaxy Attack: Shooting Game by 1SOFT experienced a decline in revenue, starting at $914 and ending at $321. Downloads and active users also saw fluctuations, with downloads peaking at 1K in late March and active users reaching 8.2K in the same period.
