In the first quarter of 2025, the Play To Earn gaming sector on Android in Norway demonstrated varied performance across the top five applications. Here's a closer look at their trends based on data from Sensor Tower.
Match to Win: Compete for Cash showed a notable fluctuation in weekly revenue, starting at $160 and experiencing a dip before rising again to $93 in mid-March. Downloads were sporadic, peaking at 138 in early January and dropping significantly thereafter. Active users also varied, with a high of 104 at the start, decreasing over the quarter.
For PokerStars: Texas Holdem Games, revenue peaked at $141 in mid-February, with consistent activity above $50 for most of the quarter. Downloads remained steady, ranging between 13 and 24 weekly. The app maintained a stable user base, with active users fluctuating slightly between 98 and 132.
GAMEE Prizes: Real Money Games had a modest revenue peak of $33 towards the end of March. Downloads were low but consistent, ranging from 8 to 28 weekly. Active users saw a decline from 1089 at the beginning of the quarter to 509 by the end.
Wild Cash | Quiz to Earn did not generate revenue but maintained steady downloads, increasing to 22 weekly by mid-March. Active users hovered around the 85-95 range, indicating consistent engagement.
Finally, Lucky Scratcher & Play Earn had stable download numbers, peaking at 29 by the end of March. Active user data was limited, but a slight increase was noted from 12 to 17.
