In the first quarter of 2025, the sandbox gaming landscape on Android in Finland showcased varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the top five games:
Roblox from Roblox Corporation exhibited a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting at around $42.8K and dropping to approximately $19.7K by the end of March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 2.1K in early January and then tapering off to about 1.3K. Active users started at 189K, decreasing steadily to 159K.
Minecraft: Play with Friends by Mojang saw a modest increase in revenue, beginning at $2K and ending the quarter at about $2K. Downloads remained low, peaking at 69 in mid-February. Active users showed a stable pattern, starting at 35.6K and ending at 36.5K.
Growtopia from Ubisoft Entertainment experienced a peak in weekly revenue of $3.5K in early February, before declining to around $952 by the end of March. Downloads were relatively stable, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter. Active users began at 1K and saw a slight decline to 849.
Melon Sandbox by playducky.com had fluctuating revenue, reaching a high of $104 in mid-February before ending at $82. Downloads peaked at 574 in early February, while active users showed a slight increase, starting at 11.5K and ending at 11.7K.
Blockman Go from Blockman GO Studio had a low revenue trend, peaking at $105 in early February. Downloads varied, with the highest at 109 in early March. Active users remained stable, starting at 866 and ending at 841.
