During the first quarter of 2025, the top shoot'em up games on the Android platform in Europe displayed intriguing trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights key metrics for these popular games.
Archero 2 by Habby launched in early January and quickly captured attention. Weekly revenue saw a peak at approximately $360K in late January, gradually declining to around $229K by the end of March. Downloads initially surged to 424K in the first week of release but tapered off, stabilizing around 62K at quarter's end. Active users mirrored this pattern, starting strong at 424K and ending the quarter with 218K.
1945 Air Force: Airplane Games from 1SOFT maintained consistent performance. Revenue fluctuated between $26K and $39K weekly, ending on a high note. Downloads hovered around 105K in early January, dipping to 71K by March. Active users remained fairly stable, starting at 584K and experiencing minor fluctuations, closing at 461K.
Galaxy Attack: Shooting Game, also by 1SOFT, showed moderate revenue activity, peaking at $32K in late February. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with a notable increase to 110K in early February, before settling at 57K. Active users followed a similar trend, with a slight rise to 587K mid-quarter, ending at 466K.
Space shooter - Galaxy attack experienced stable revenue, reaching $37K by the end of March. Downloads varied, with a noticeable spike to 83K in mid-February, finishing at 77K. Active users remained robust, peaking at 634K in February and maintaining healthy engagement at 605K by the quarter's close.
Ball Blast Cannon blitz mania by VOODOO showed a steady revenue stream, averaging around $3.6K weekly. Downloads grew from 35K to 53K over the quarter. Active users increased from 422K to 550K, indicating strong player retention.
