In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top shooter games on Android in Europe showcased intriguing trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at how these games fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
PUBG MOBILE saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.3M in late March. Its weekly downloads reached a high of around 474K in early March, although they gradually declined to about 280K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained robust, peaking at nearly 9.8M in early March before settling at approximately 9.2M.
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 3 experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a high of $674K in mid-January and a closing figure of about $433K. Weekly downloads started at 87K, decreasing to around 63K by the end of March. Active users showed a slight decline, starting the quarter at 1.4M and ending at 1.2M.
World of Tanks Blitz™ had varying weekly revenues, beginning at $432K and ending at $215K. Downloads showed a downward trend from 35K to about 21K. Active users decreased from 1.2M to 742K over the quarter.
Free Fire maintained consistent revenue figures, peaking at $322K in mid-January. Downloads began strong at 234K but tapered off to 154K by quarter's end. Active users remained relatively stable around 6M to 7M throughout the quarter.
Standoff 2 showed a steady revenue with a peak of $214K in early March. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 346K and closing at 177K. Active users peaked at 7.3M at the start and ended at 6.9M.
