In the first quarter of 2025, the Android platform in the United States saw notable trends in the performance of top sports games, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five apps in this category:
8 Ball Pool demonstrated consistent revenue figures, peaking at approximately $249K at the start of the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 68K in mid-February, while active users showed a slight decrease from 248K to 191K by the end of March.
EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer experienced a revenue peak of $284K in mid-February. Weekly downloads were relatively stable around 34K, with active users maintaining a robust presence, ranging from 1.5M to 1.8M throughout the quarter.
Hunting Sniper saw a revenue spike at the start of the year, reaching $377K, with a notable decline to $267K by the end of March. Downloads started strong at 53K but tapered to around 20K. Active users saw a decrease from 171K to 148K over the period.
Soccer Superstar remained steady in revenue, with a notable jump to $88 at the end of March. Downloads increased from 22K to 35K, while active users showed an upward trend, closing the quarter at 284K.
MLB PRO SPIRIT experienced a significant increase in revenue from $575 to $2.7K by the end of the quarter. Downloads peaked at 61K in late February, and active users surged from 20K to a high of 85K in mid-March before settling at 33K.
