In the first quarter of 2025, the superhero gaming landscape on Android in Europe saw significant activity across top applications. Using data from Sensor Tower, we can delve into the performance trends of these popular games.
DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE experienced a remarkable peak in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $1.2M by the end of January. The game also saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, with a high of 57.4K in mid-February. Active users grew from 170.7K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 282.4K, before slightly declining towards the end of March.
The Marvel Contest of Champions demonstrated a steady weekly revenue, peaking at $114.1K in early March. Downloads spiked at 39K mid-February, while active users decreased over the quarter, from 172.8K to around 141K by the end of March.
MARVEL Strike Force: Squad RPG maintained a consistent performance, with revenue peaking at $84.2K at the end of March. Downloads reached a high of 38.4K in mid-February, and active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at approximately 83.5K.
Newcomer DC: Dark Legion™ showed a promising start, with weekly revenue climbing to $233.1K by late March. Downloads initially surged to 258.6K in early March but tapered off to 59.6K by month’s end. Active users started strong at 194.2K but decreased to 47.7K.
The Japanese version of ドラゴンボールZ ドッカンバトル saw moderate activity, with revenue peaking at $116.3K in late January. Active users increased slightly from 15K to over 20K mid-quarter, before settling at around 16K.
