In the first quarter of 2025, the top superhero games on the Android platform in the United States demonstrated varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.
DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. showed significant fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.46M in late January. Downloads surged mid-February, reaching around 28.5K, while active users increased steadily to a high of 126.5K by the end of February before a gradual decline.
MARVEL Strike Force: Squad RPG, developed by Scopely, maintained a stable weekly revenue trend, with a slight increase in March reaching nearly $399K. Weekly downloads remained consistent, peaking at 17.5K at the start of the quarter. Active users saw a peak of 141.6K in early February before a gradual decrease.
Kabam Games, Inc.'s Marvel Contest of Champions experienced a decline in weekly revenue throughout the quarter, starting from $607K and dropping to around $150K by the end of March. Downloads peaked at 10K in early February, while active users consistently decreased from 72.9K to 51.3K over the quarter.
DC: Dark Legion™, a new entrant from FunPlus International AG, saw impressive performance post-launch. Weekly revenue jumped to $588K by late March, with initial downloads peaking at 115.3K. Active users reached 130.4K mid-March before declining to 46.3K by the end of the month.
Finally, MARVEL Future Fight by Netmarble had a steady revenue trend, starting at $111K and ending at $72.9K. Downloads were highest at 3.5K in late March, while active users decreased from 31.8K to 18.7K over the quarter.
