In the first quarter of 2025, train game apps on the Android platform in Germany showcased diverse performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, here’s a closer look at the top 5 apps in this category.
Train Miner: Idle Railway Game, published by CASUAL AZUR GAMES, experienced a notable increase in revenue, peaking at approximately $3.3K in the last week of March. Weekly downloads also rose, reaching around 7.6K in mid-March. Active users grew steadily, starting from 84.4K and reaching 99.1K by mid-March, before settling at 92.8K by the end of the quarter.
Train Station 2: Rail Tycoon from Pixel Federation Games saw fluctuating revenue, with a high of $39.4K in early January, followed by a gradual decline. Downloads started at 4K and decreased to around 1.3K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 22.7K and decreasing to 17.4K.
Railroad Empire: Train Game by Azur Interactive Games Limited maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $3.6K in late March. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend, starting from 2.8K and ending at approximately 1.3K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 5K mark.
Passenger Express Train Game from GOOD TO SEE YOU did not generate revenue but had a notable download peak of 2.7K in mid-January. However, downloads decreased significantly to 634 by the end of March. Active users peaked at 5K in mid-January and settled around 3.3K by quarter's end.
Lastly, Railway Train Simulator Games from GamePark showed no revenue generation. Downloads decreased over the quarter from 1.6K to just over 600. Active users decreased from 2.4K to 1.2K by the end of March.
