In the first quarter of 2025, the top train games on the Android platform showcased diverse performance trends across Latin America. Here's a closer look at how these games fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Passenger Express Train Game by GOOD TO SEE YOU saw a fluctuating download trend, peaking at 39K in mid-January before tapering to 7.5K by the end of March. Its weekly revenue started at $31 and reached a high of $62 by late January, with a gradual decline to $18 by the end of the quarter. Active users began at 40K, rising to 64K in January, but decreased to 42K by March's close.
Thomas & Friends: Magic Tracks from Budge Studios maintained steady weekly downloads, starting at 22K and slightly decreasing to 15K by the quarter's end. Revenue showed an upward trajectory, starting at $44 and peaking at $94 in late March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 50K mark.
Train Miner: Idle Railway Game by CASUAL AZUR GAMES experienced significant growth in both downloads and active users. Downloads surged from 8.7K to a peak of 38K in mid-March. Revenue followed a similar trend, increasing from $130 to $241 in March. Active users grew from 107K to a peak of 176K during the quarter.
Train Simulator: Railroad Game, published by Azur Interactive Games Limited, had a consistent increase in downloads, starting from 12K and reaching 25K by mid-March. Revenue remained stable, fluctuating between $15 and $45. Active users rose from 13K to 29K by mid-March before settling at 18K.
Thomas & Friends Minis, another title from Budge Studios, showed a steady download rate, starting at 10K and ending at 10.7K. Revenue experienced a notable increase from $67 to $158 in mid-March. Active users remained steady, starting at 18K and closing at 16K.
