State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the travel and local app market on Android in Brazil presented notable trends, as captured by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five apps in this category.
Airbnb experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 186K in early January and decreasing to approximately 115K by the end of March. Despite this, it maintained a robust base of weekly active users, with numbers fluctuating between 2.8M and 4.1M.
Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map showed a stable trend in downloads, averaging around 100K weekly. The app's weekly revenue peaked at $118 in late March, while weekly active users increased from 393K to over 542K during the quarter.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw a decrease in downloads from 106K to 56K over the quarter. Active users, however, remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 1.6M and 2.1M.
Decolar: Voos e Hotéis had a varied performance in downloads, starting at 71K and ending at approximately 45K by the end of March. The app's active user base showed a downward trend, moving from 1.1M to around 823K.
Livelo: juntar e trocar pontos experienced a peak in downloads, reaching 76K in mid-March. The active user count fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at 1.3M.
