In the first quarter of 2025, the travel and local app category on the Android platform in Tunisia showed diverse performance trends. Here is an overview of the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
Google Earth from Google LLC saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with around 2.6K and peaking at 4.3K in early February. The app's weekly active users began at 73.1K, experiencing a dip mid-quarter, but ended with a recovery to nearly 60K.
Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map maintained a solid presence, with weekly downloads reaching a high of 3.7K in late January. Active users remained relatively steady, starting at 34.1K and ending at 24K, despite some mid-quarter declines.
RushA Passenger, a local app by RUSHA MOBILITY, displayed a significant surge in early January with downloads hitting 7.9K, but saw a consistent decline towards the end of the quarter.
Trip.com: Book Flights, Hotels experienced a steady download rate, peaking at 3.1K in early March. Active users increased from 4.8K at the start of the quarter, peaking at 6.1K by March.
Finally, Booking.com: Hotels & Travel had varied download figures, with a notable increase to 1.9K in late February. The app's active users started at 56.6K, showing some fluctuations but stabilizing around 44.9K by the end of March.
