In Q1 2025, the turn-based tactics game category on Android in Norway saw notable activity, with varied performance across the top five games. Here's a closer look at the trends for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Bowmasters: Archery Shooting from Playgendary Limited showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 142K and peaking at 325K mid-February. Revenue fluctuated, beginning at around $48 and ending at $12, while weekly active users saw a decline from 1.56K to 1.15K by the quarter's end.
Tank Stars by CASUAL AZUR GAMES experienced a steady revenue stream, with weekly figures peaking at approximately $74 in mid-January. Downloads varied, with a high of 238K in late March. Active users increased from 772 to 1.1K over the quarter.
Archery Bastions: Castle War, also from CASUAL AZUR GAMES, saw a consistent revenue, peaking at $83 at the start of the quarter. Downloads were stable, fluctuating between 66K and 161K weekly. Active users remained steady, averaging around 1.3K throughout the quarter.
Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus ™ from Snowprint Studios AB demonstrated strong revenue figures, reaching up to $2.8K by the end of March. However, downloads decreased over time, from 109K to 61K. Active users decreased slightly, ending at 333.
Magic War Legends by TINYSOFT saw a surge in revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching $715 in late March. Downloads were modest, peaking at 78K. Active users fluctuated, starting from 429 and ending at 384.
