State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the first quarter of 2025, air travel apps in the Netherlands showed varied performance on the iOS platform. Here's a closer look at the top five apps, with data insights from Sensor Tower.
KLM - Book a flight maintained a consistent weekly download rate, starting at around 4.7K and peaking at 5.4K by the end of March. The app's active users rose from 77.9K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 105.6K mid-quarter, before settling at 90.6K.
Transavia saw a stable download pattern, with numbers fluctuating between 3K and 4.3K. Active users exhibited growth, beginning at 32K and reaching a high of 57.2K toward the end of the quarter.
Ryanair experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting at 2.6K and reaching 3.7K. Active user numbers also grew, from 42.5K to a peak of 66.4K in mid-February, before stabilizing at around 59.6K.
Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker demonstrated a robust presence with weekly revenue peaking at $6.1K. Downloads remained consistent, varying between 2.5K and 3.4K, while active users increased significantly from 93.3K to 162.4K by the end of the quarter.
Schiphol Amsterdam Airport showed a declining trend in downloads, starting at 3.4K and dropping to 1.8K. Active users fluctuated but remained around the 50K to 60K range.
