In the first quarter of 2025, Apple Arcade games on iOS in Europe showcased diverse performance trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for the top five games.
Chess - Play & Learn experienced a noticeable fluctuation in weekly revenue, beginning the quarter at around $362K and then peaking at $379K in the first week. However, by the end of March, it had decreased to approximately $292K. The game saw a peak in weekly downloads in late February with about 147K, while active users steadily increased from 3.2M to 3.7M over the quarter.
Snake.io - Fun Online Snake showed a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from over 106K and dropping to around 61K by the end of the quarter. Revenue remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around $1K weekly. Active users decreased from 817K to about 671K, showing a slight rebound in March.
Fruit Ninja® saw its weekly revenue hover around $2K, with a small increase to $2.2K mid-March. Downloads were inconsistent, peaking at 46K in early January and then stabilizing around 28K by the end of March. Active users experienced a dip from 1.1M to approximately 874K.
Temple Run maintained a stable download rate, starting at 33K and ending at 28K. Revenue was modest, with a slight increase from $237 to $752 throughout the quarter. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at around 178K.
Hill Climb Racing had a relatively stable performance, with weekly downloads averaging around 27K. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, peaking at $5.6K in February. Active users remained consistent at around 340K.
