In the first quarter of 2025, the consumer finance sector on iOS in Romania saw varied performance among its top applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these are the insights for the leading apps in this category.
Salt Bank recorded a significant fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at 12.2K and peaking at 25.4K in early January before stabilizing around 3.8K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users increased steadily from 68.8K to an impressive 121.4K.
BT Pay saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 11.8K in early March. The app maintained a strong presence with active users growing from 833K to over 1.08M throughout the quarter.
Revolut: Send, spend and save experienced a steady weekly download pattern, averaging around 7K to 8.7K. Its active user base remained robust, fluctuating slightly but ending with approximately 1.27M users.
George Romania witnessed an increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, with a notable peak of 9.3K in March. Active users showed some variability, starting at 334K and ending at 347K.
Lastly, Raiffeisen Smart Mobile had consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 2.1K to 4.2K. The app's active users saw a steady rise, reaching 342K by the quarter's end.
