2026 State of Mobile is Live!

During the first quarter of 2025, the fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Australia showed varied performance on the iOS platform. According to Sensor Tower data, here's how the top five apps fared in terms of downloads and active users.
MyMacca's saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting with around 14K in early January and peaking at about 26.2K by the end of March. Active users initially dipped to approximately 384.9K but recovered to reach 455.6K by quarter's end.
KFC - Order On The Go experienced fluctuations in downloads, beginning at 11.9K and hitting a high of 17.1K in late February before settling at 12.5K in late March. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 162.4K and ending at 160.8K.
Guzman y Gomez (GYG) Mexican showed a consistent increase in downloads, starting at 10.5K and reaching 13.7K by the end of March. Active users also grew steadily from 29.7K to 33.7K.
Hungry Jack’s Deals & Ordering downloads fluctuated slightly, starting at 11K, peaking at 13.5K in late January, and closing the quarter at 12.1K. Active users maintained a stable presence, ending the quarter at 124.5K.
Domino's saw a gradual increase in downloads from 9.4K to 8.7K by the end of March. Active users remained steady around the 44K mark throughout the quarter.
