In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on iOS in Brazil showed distinct trends. Here's a closer look at the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
McDonald's Offers and Delivery experienced notable fluctuations in weekly downloads, beginning with around 41.7K at the start of January and reaching a peak of about 41.5K in early March. Its weekly active users started at approximately 1.9M, dipping slightly mid-quarter, and ending with a strong increase to about 2.1M by the end of March.
Burger King Brasil maintained a steady download rate, starting the quarter with roughly 34K and finishing with about 32.7K weekly downloads. The app saw a rise in weekly active users, from around 727K at the beginning of January to approximately 773K by the end of March.
Habib's showed a gradual decrease in downloads, starting with about 9.5K and reaching a low of approximately 5.4K in late February, before rebounding slightly. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at roughly 76K and ending the quarter with about 57K.
Bob's Brasil observed a consistent decline in downloads from around 9.5K to about 4.7K by the end of March. Despite this, active users increased from approximately 43K to around 49K, showing a positive engagement trend.
Grupo Madero App saw downloads decline from about 4.3K to 3K, while weekly active users grew from approximately 39.5K to 46K, reflecting an increase in user retention.
These insights from Sensor Tower highlight the dynamic nature of app performance in Brazil's fast food sector, with varied trends in downloads and user engagement across the top applications.
