During the first quarter of 2025, the performance of fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Germany on the iOS platform showed diverse trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.
McDonald’s Germany saw a varying pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 37.8K and experiencing a dip before climbing back to 33.7K by the end of March. Active users showed a significant rise, beginning the quarter at 2.4M and reaching 2.7M by the last week.
Subway Deutschland experienced a peak in weekly downloads mid-January at about 20.5K, followed by a gradual decline to 11K by the end of March. Active users peaked at 125K in late January, then decreased steadily to 89K.
The Burger King Deutschland app maintained a stable download rate, with a slight increase from 14.4K to 13.5K over the quarter. Active user numbers remained relatively steady, fluctuating around the 600K mark throughout.
KFC experienced consistent weekly downloads ranging between 8.9K and 11.2K, with a slight dip mid-quarter. Active users saw a noticeable dip from 142K in early January to 100K in early March, before rebounding to 140K by the end of the quarter.
Finally, Domino's Pizza Deutschland had a modest number of downloads, averaging around 4K weekly, with a spike to 4.8K in late March. Active users displayed a steady increase, ending the quarter with approximately 85K.
