In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of food delivery apps on iOS in Sweden showed varied trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, peaking at around 12.8K during mid-February. Active users steadily increased from 109K at the start of the quarter to a high of approximately 180K in early March.
foodora: Food & Groceries maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 7.9K and experiencing a slight decline towards the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated, with a noticeable dip in early March to 188K before recovering to 199K by the end of March.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more experienced a steady pattern in downloads, with numbers around 4.5K to 6.7K. The app's active users increased steadily, reaching a peak of 98K in late February before settling at 93K by the end of the quarter.
Matpriskollen-Extrapris&Recept saw a dramatic spike in weekly downloads, notably reaching 14.4K in mid-March. Active users also surged in March, climbing to 16.1K before declining slightly.
Uber Eats: Food & Groceries started with modest download numbers, which gradually increased to 3.9K by the end of March. Active user numbers showed a similar trend, peaking at 45K in early March before decreasing to 30K towards the quarter's end.
