In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top five insurance applications on iOS in Oceania showed diverse trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
myBupa from Bupa Australia Health Pty Ltd saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 10K in late March. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained strong, reaching approximately 165K in early March.
My Medibank experienced moderate growth in downloads, with a notable rise to 5.1K at the end of March. Active user engagement was relatively stable, starting at 88K and ending the quarter with around 97K.
AAMI App demonstrated a gradual increase in downloads, with numbers climbing to 5.2K in mid-March. The app maintained a consistent number of active users, peaking at 158K in early March.
NRMA Insurance showed a modest increase in downloads, reaching a high of 3.6K in early March. Active user numbers were stable, hovering around 15K throughout the quarter.
Finally, nib saw a steady rise in downloads, peaking at 3K in late March. Active users increased gradually, ending the quarter with approximately 14K.
