Top 5 iOS Insurance Apps in the US: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the top insurance applications on iOS in the United States showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Progressive experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 148.6K in late February. The app also saw a fluctuation in weekly active users, starting at 2.65M and reaching a high of 2.96M by the end of March.

State Farm® maintained steady download numbers, with weekly downloads ranging from 86.1K to 112.7K. Active users demonstrated an upward trend, climbing from 1.72M to over 2.05M by the quarter's end.

UnitedHealthcare saw a notable decrease in weekly downloads, starting from 185.7K and dropping to 72.8K. However, active users saw some recovery, ending the quarter at approximately 950K.

GEICO Mobile - Car Insurance showed an upward trend in downloads, reaching a peak of 83.6K in late February. Active users fluctuated, with numbers ranging from 1.20M to 1.62M throughout the quarter.

Finally, myCigna experienced a decline in downloads, starting at 98.7K and dropping to 30.4K by the end of March. However, active users increased from 261K to nearly 350K during the same period.
