During the first quarter of 2025, several medical apps in Nigeria showcased diverse performance metrics on the iOS platform. Here's a closer look at the trends for the top five apps, based on Sensor Tower data.
Plabable for PLAB from Plabable Limited experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at about $89 in the week of March 10. Downloads were minimal, with a slight increase to 4 in the week of March 24.
AMBOSS Medical Knowledge saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $44 by the end of March. Downloads were modest, with a peak of 6 in the final week. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight rise from 7 to 9 throughout the quarter.
Tonome: Blood Pressure Monitor displayed a consistent revenue trend, with a noticeable rise to $49 in early March. Active users saw a gradual decline from 424 to 359 over the quarter.
Huckleberry: Baby & Child maintained steady active user numbers, slightly decreasing from 414 to 397. Revenue exhibited fluctuations, peaking at $26 in early March.
Finally, Pregnancy + | Tracker App by Philips Digital UK Limited had strong download numbers, topping at 498 in early January. Revenue showed an initial increase, peaking at $28 in mid-February, while active users varied, peaking at 2714 in mid-January.
