In the first quarter of 2025, the otome game market on iOS in South America showcased interesting trends across various key performance metrics. Here's a closer look at the top five otome games during this period.
Love and Deepspace by INFOLD PTE. LTD. saw a varied performance throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at around $18K in early February, with a notable increase in late March reaching approximately $11K. Downloads, however, experienced a decline over the quarter, starting from 5K and dropping below 1K by the end of March. Active users maintained a fairly stable presence, fluctuating between 10K and 13K.
My Candy Love - Otome game from Beemoov demonstrated a steady performance in terms of active users, maintaining numbers around the 10K to 13K mark. The revenue trend remained relatively stable, with slight fluctuations, peaking at $1.1K in late January. Downloads showed a downward trajectory, starting from 1K and reducing to about 150 by the end of the quarter.
The newer My Candy Love NewGen Otome Sim, also by Beemoov, experienced modest revenue growth, reaching a high of $546 in early February. Downloads started at 300 and dwindled to just 2 by the end of March, indicating a significant decline in new user acquisition.
Otomania by Genius Inc. had a steady, albeit low, revenue stream throughout the quarter, peaking at $161 in mid-January. The app's downloads and active users remained low but stable, with slight increases towards the end of March.
Finally, Love Story® My Romance Fantasy from WEBELINX GAMES DOO showed a declining trend in both downloads and active users, with revenue dropping to zero by mid-March. The app began the quarter with 336 downloads and ended with just 6.
