In the first quarter of 2025, the top paid iOS games in the United States showcased varied performance metrics across revenue, downloads, and active user trends. Here's a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.
Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! from Mojang saw a notable rise in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $781K and peaking at around $1.33M by the end of March. Downloads fluctuated, beginning at 42.5K and reaching 47.7K in the final week. Active users also increased from 3.1M to 3.2M over the quarter.
Balatro by Playstack Ltd experienced a decline in weekly revenue, beginning at $247K and dropping to $81.7K. Downloads followed a similar trend, starting at 19K and settling at 12K. However, active users grew steadily, reaching a peak of 321K before slightly dropping to 298K.
For Bloons TD 6 by Ninja Kiwi, revenue showed a mid-quarter boost, peaking at $147K in early February, while downloads remained relatively stable around 5K. Active users increased from 231K to a high of 278K before ending the quarter at 225K.
Heads Up! from Warner Bros. had a strong start with $222K in revenue, which then decreased to $43.8K. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 14.8K and ending at 8.1K. Active users showed a slight recovery towards the end of the quarter, closing at 54.5K.
Finally, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp C by Nintendo Co., Ltd. saw revenue decline from $53.9K to $18.9K. Downloads also decreased from 9.1K to 1.7K, and active users followed a downward trend, ending at around 9.8K.
