In the first quarter of 2025, the leading personal finance apps on iOS in Sweden demonstrated varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Splitwise experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $437 in late March. Weekly downloads showed fluctuations, beginning with 2.1K and ending the quarter with 1.3K, while the number of active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 29K.
The Buddy: Budget Planner App from Buddy Budgeting AB saw its weekly revenue peak at $412 in late January before fluctuating throughout the quarter. Downloads varied, starting at 314 and closing with 191, while active users showed slight growth from 305 to 271 by the end of March.
YNAB had a modest revenue peak of $251 in late March. Downloads remained low, ranging from 19 to 53, while active users stayed consistent, averaging around 200.
Alwy: Budget, spara, ekonomi saw a steady revenue trend, peaking at $87 in late February. However, downloads were minimal, with a maximum of 12 in mid-January.
Finally, the Budget Planner App - Fleur showed a revenue peak of $69 at the start of the quarter. Downloads began at 154 and varied throughout, while active users remained stable, averaging around 900.
