The first quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends among the top pixel games on iOS in Italy. This overview provides a snapshot of their performance, focusing on weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Data is sourced from Sensor Tower, where more insights are available.
Galaxy Attack: Alien Shooter by Dino Game Limited experienced fluctuations. Weekly revenue started at around $3.3K, dipping to approximately $1.2K by the end of March. Downloads peaked mid-quarter at 1.8K, while active users rose steadily, reaching nearly 12.8K at the quarter's end.
Realms of Pixel, a new entry from NOVASONIC GAMES PTE. LTD., saw a strong start with revenue peaking at $4.7K in late February. Downloads, however, decreased significantly from 6.4K to just 175 by the end of March. Active users showed variability, starting at 5.3K and closing at 1.5K.
Color by Number:Coloring Games from Wildlife Studios maintained stable revenue, averaging around $1.2K weekly. Downloads increased to 1.7K in early March before settling at 1.2K. Active users saw a gradual decline from 13.8K to 9.7K by the quarter's end.
Cup Heroes by Voodoo showed a notable increase in active users, peaking at 12.3K in early March. Revenue, however, decreased from $1.5K to about $790. Downloads experienced a mid-quarter peak of 3.3K, later dropping to 1.3K.
Finally, Papers, Please by 3909 had a consistent performance with revenue fluctuating around $500. Downloads remained low, peaking at 142 early in the quarter. Active users stayed steady, averaging 1.2K throughout the period.
These trends highlight the dynamic nature of the mobile gaming market in Italy, offering valuable insights for developers and publishers alike.
