In the first quarter of 2025, the shooter game genre on iOS in Greece showcased diverse performance patterns across the top five titles. This analysis provides a snapshot of their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.
Squid Game: Unleashed from Netflix, Inc. saw a sharp decline in weekly downloads, starting at over 33K at the beginning of January and dropping to just 58 by the end of March. The active user base also decreased, beginning at approximately 23K and settling at around 5.9K.
Free Fire experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at about $5.8K in mid-January and ending the quarter with a rise to $5.8K. Downloads remained relatively stable, mostly hovering around 1K. Active users showed a slight decline from 16.1K to about 11.5K.
PUBG MOBILE demonstrated a notable increase in weekly revenue, which climbed to $28.7K by the end of March. Downloads were consistent, generally staying around 1K. Active users remained steady, with minor variations, maintaining around 23K throughout the quarter.
Call of Duty®: Mobile had variable revenue, peaking at $12.2K in mid-January before stabilizing at $6.1K. Downloads fluctuated slightly, averaging around 700. Active users remained consistent, averaging between 7K and 7.5K.
Western Sniper: Wild West FPS showed modest activity with intermittent revenue peaks, reaching up to $15. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 539 in early March. Active users saw a peak of 709 in the same period before declining to 238 by the end of the quarter.
