In the first quarter of 2025, the top shooter games on iOS in Norway showcased diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the top five games, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.
Squid Game: Unleashed by Netflix, Inc. saw a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting at about 7.3K in late December and dropping to just 35 by the end of March. The active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 7.6K to approximately 2.1K.
Zooba: Zoo Battle Royale Games from Wildlife Studios maintained moderate weekly revenue, peaking at $4.7K in mid-February. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a peak of 450 at the start of January, and active users decreased from 3K to about 2.2K by the quarter's end.
Western Sniper: Wild West FPS by AI Games FZ had a minimal revenue presence, only starting to generate income in late February, reaching a modest $55 by mid-March. Downloads were relatively stable, peaking at 441 in early March, while active users saw an increase, reaching 923 in the same period.
PUBG MOBILE from Tencent Mobile International Limited experienced significant revenue fluctuations, with a peak of approximately $34.7K in the week of March 10. Downloads showed a gradual decline, starting at 448 and ending at 139 weekly downloads. Active users decreased slightly from 5.1K to 3.9K over the quarter.
Call of Duty®: Mobile by Activision Publishing, Inc. started with a revenue peak of $15.8K in mid-January, then stabilized around $5K towards the end of March. Downloads and active users saw a gradual decline, with downloads dropping from 406 to 99 and active users decreasing from 4.9K to 3.7K.
