The first quarter of 2025 saw intriguing trends in the performance of the top tabletop board games on iOS in Cyprus. Here's a closer look at how these popular apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Backgammon - Lord of the Board from Beach Bum Ltd experienced a fluctuating revenue stream, starting at approximately $816 in the first week and peaking at $950 in early January. Weekly downloads showed a slight downward trend, ending the quarter at around 69.
Chess - Play & Learn by Chess.com maintained a consistent download rate, ranging between 141 and 189 throughout the quarter. Revenue saw some variability, with a high of $252 in the first week of January, tapering to $161 by the end of March.
Ludo STAR from Gameberry Labs showed a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 145 in early March. Revenue followed a similar pattern, with a notable rise to $115 in late March.
Backgammon Legends by Ahoy Games had a mixed performance in revenue, reaching a high of $99 in March. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 50 in the latter part of the quarter.
Finally, Backgammon Live™ Board Game from Come2Play showed modest revenue growth, culminating at $92 in March. However, downloads were minimal, with only a few instances of double-digit figures.
