In the first quarter of 2025, the tank game genre on the iOS platform in Germany showcased notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five tank games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
World of Tanks Blitz™ from WARGAMING Group Limited saw a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $47.9K at the end of December and tapering to about $17.6K by the end of March. Weekly downloads peaked at 1.4K in late January but declined to around 757 by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from 17.6K to 10.4K.
Tank Stars by AI Games FZ maintained relatively stable weekly revenue, averaging around $250, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter. Downloads started strong at 1.8K, dropped mid-quarter, and rebounded to 1.4K by the end of March. Despite a decline in active users from 6K to 4.1K, there was a slight recovery in March.
MWT: Tank Battles from Artstorm FZE experienced varying revenue, peaking at $2.5K in late January and stabilizing around $1.6K by the quarter's end. Weekly downloads showed an initial surge to 1.6K, then settled around 589. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 2.9K but ending the quarter at 1.5K.
Massive Warfare: Tank Battles by Tiny Bytes had a consistent revenue trend, averaging close to $1.5K weekly. Downloads began at 964 but declined to 319 by the end of March. Active users also showed a downward trajectory, beginning at 1.6K and closing at just over 1K.
War Machines:Battle Tank Games from Wildlife Studios maintained strong revenue, ranging between $11.9K and $16.1K. Downloads decreased from 795 to 520, while active users fell from 3.7K to 2.8K over the quarter.
