In the first quarter of 2025, the top 5 tycoon games on the iOS platform in Italy showcased diverse performance trends, with varying degrees of success in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at the numbers from Sensor Tower.
Township by Playrix saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $57K in January. Download numbers took a downward turn over the quarter, starting at 40K and ending at 16K. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 60K.
Hay Day from Supercell experienced a significant jump in revenue, with a high of $46K at the end of March. Downloads started strong at 10K but decreased to 5.7K by quarter’s end. Despite this, the game maintained a robust active user base, consistently above 135K.
Klondike Adventures: Farm Game by VIZOR APPS LTD demonstrated steady revenue, peaking at $9.2K in March. Downloads varied, with a low of 1.9K in early March, while active users showed a gradual increase, reaching 13K by the end of the quarter.
My Sushi Story had modest revenue figures, with a peak of $708 in January. Downloads began at 2.8K and dwindled to 801 by the end of March. Active user numbers also decreased, falling from 7.4K to 5.1K throughout the quarter.
Finally, Lands of Jail, a newcomer by SINGAPORE JUST GAME TECHNOLOGY PTE.LTD., showed promising growth with revenue climbing to $5.2K shortly after its release. Downloads surged to 15K in its second week, and active users reached 14K by the end of March.
