In the first quarter of 2025, the top air travel apps in Ireland showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of these applications on a unified platform.
Ryanair saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 4.8K and peaking at 5.9K by the end of March. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, climbing from approximately 30.6K to 32.3K. Revenue was minimal, with only a few peaks reaching $1.
Aer Lingus maintained a consistent download rate, fluctuating between 3.8K and 5.1K. Their active users started strong at 8.6K, slightly dipping to 8.7K by quarter's end.
Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker experienced a notable increase in revenue, peaking at $5.3K in late March. Downloads showed fluctuations, with a low of 1.5K and a high of 2.3K. Active users increased from 16.9K to 19.2K over the quarter.
The Dublin Airport (Official) app had a modest download pattern, starting at 894 and reaching 1.7K. There was no revenue data available for this app.
Aer Lingus Play displayed a rise in downloads, from 991 to 1.8K by the end of March. Similar to the Dublin Airport app, there was no revenue data reported.
