In the first quarter of 2025, top Apple Arcade games in the Netherlands showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at how these games fared:
Snake.io - Fun Online Snake from Kooapps saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $139 in the last week of March. Downloads started strong at 6.7K but gradually decreased to around 4.1K by the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated, peaking at over 76K initially and ending at 63.8K.
Chess - Play & Learn by Chess.com maintained a robust revenue stream, with a high of $25.5K in late December. Downloads remained relatively steady, with a peak of 5.4K in early February. Active users consistently hovered around 180K, showcasing strong engagement.
Hill Climb Racing from Fingersoft experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads from 2.6K to 1.8K. Revenue saw modest fluctuations, peaking at $599 in late December. Active users displayed a slight decline, starting at 46.5K and ending at 41K.
Sonic Dash: Fun Endless Runner by SEGA had a revenue peak of $226 in mid-March. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 2.3K and dropping to 1.3K. Active users decreased steadily from 11.5K to 10K over the quarter.
Fruit Ninja® from Halfbrick Studios saw a revenue peak of $165 in late March. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak of 2.4K at the start of the quarter. Active users saw a decline, beginning at 27.2K and concluding at 13.2K.
