State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the top art and design applications on a unified platform in the United States showcased diverse performance trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps had varying levels of weekly downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.
Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor experienced a notable peak in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $3.6M in the final week of February. Downloads fluctuated, with a significant increase to about 450K by the end of March. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, peaking at nearly 9.4M.
Arvin® - AI Logo Maker saw a gradual decline in weekly revenue, closing the quarter at around $120K. Weekly downloads decreased steadily, ending at approximately 37.5K. However, the app's active users showed a consistent upward trend, reaching about 1.2M by the end of March.
ibis Paint X maintained a relatively stable revenue throughout the quarter, averaging around $37K weekly. Downloads hovered around 71K to 108K, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter. Active users demonstrated resilience, peaking at over 5.3M.
AI Image Generator: ImagineArt had steady weekly revenue, averaging around $20K. Downloads showed variability, peaking at about 25K in mid-March. The app's active users increased significantly towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 91K.
Ink AI – Tattoo design maker experienced consistent weekly revenue, closing the quarter near $25K. Downloads decreased over the period, ending at about 6.4K. Active users remained stable, with a slight decline to around 261K by the end of March.
