In the first quarter of 2025, the top books applications in Poland on the unified platform showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the trends for each app.
Audioteka experienced a noticeable growth in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $92.6K at the end of February. Weekly downloads for Audioteka began at 18.6K and saw a gradual decline to 7.8K by the end of March. The app maintained a steady base of active users, with numbers ranging from 531K to 570K throughout the quarter.
Storytel - Audiobooks Library demonstrated strong revenue performance, reaching around $99.4K in mid-March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 11.5K in early January and ending at 8.7K by March's close. Active users showed a slight increase, averaging approximately 450K to 475K.
Legimi - ebooks and audiobooks had a consistent revenue stream, peaking at about $27.1K in late February. Downloads saw a decrease from 24.6K to 12.9K during the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 411K to 518K.
Galatea: Books & Audiobooks showed a decline in weekly revenue, starting at $26.7K and ending at $19.5K. Downloads also decreased from 3.6K to 1K. Active users hovered around 34K to 42K, with a slight dip mid-quarter.
Audible: Audiobooks & Podcasts had modest revenue, peaking at $9.6K. Downloads remained low, ranging from 808 to 685. Active users were steady, with numbers between 32K and 42K.
