In the first quarter of 2025, the communication app landscape in Croatia showcased interesting trends across top platforms. Here's a detailed look at the performance metrics for the leading apps in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.
WhatsApp Messenger consistently maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue peaking at about $40 in mid-March. While downloads saw a gradual decline from 6.5K at the start of January to 3.5K by the end of March, weekly active users remained robust, fluctuating around 1.9M.
Pi Browser experienced a significant surge in downloads, reaching a peak of 22K in late February. This increase was mirrored in its active user base, which climbed to over 33K in early March before settling at 16.6K by the quarter's end.
Telegram from Telegram FZ-LLC showed a stable revenue trend, peaking at around $4.6K at the start of March. Downloads remained steady, with minor fluctuations around the 4.5K mark. Active users grew steadily, reaching 370K in early March.
Snapchat saw its revenue peak at $19K in late February, while downloads gradually decreased from 4.4K at the start of the quarter to 2.7K by the end. Active users showed a positive trend, peaking at 431K in mid-March.
Messenger experienced a peak in weekly revenue of $163 at the end of February. Downloads, however, saw a decline from 3.7K to 2.1K throughout the quarter. The app maintained a strong user base, with active users hovering around 620K.
