2026 State of Mobile is Live!

The first quarter of 2025 saw notable activity among the top consumer finance apps on a unified platform in the Dominican Republic. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the weekly downloads and active user trends for these apps.
Banreservas experienced consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 20K to nearly 30K, with a peak of 29.1K in late February. Active users remained robust, fluctuating between 1.4M and 1.7M, showing a gradual increase towards the end of the quarter.
Banco Popular Dominicano saw weekly downloads ranging from 9.8K to 14.9K, peaking at 14.9K in late January. Active users grew steadily, reaching over 1.1M by the end of March.
Qik Banco Digital showed an upward trend in downloads, starting at 8.5K and climbing to 14.6K by the end of the quarter. However, active users saw a decline from 230K in mid-February to 144K by March's end.
Móvil Banking Personal BHD downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 8.5K to 13.1K. Active users displayed a positive trend, peaking at over 900K in early March.
Finally, Móvil APAP maintained a steady download rate between 2.3K and 2.8K. Active users increased over the quarter, ending with nearly 99K.
