In the first quarter of 2025, the top consumer finance applications in Guatemala showed dynamic performance trends on a unified platform. Here's a look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads and active users.
BANRURAL from Banco de Desarrollo Rural, S.A. displayed a moderately fluctuating download trend, beginning the quarter with approximately 18.3K downloads and peaking at 21.6K in late January. Active user numbers started strong at 1.2M, dipped slightly mid-quarter, and ended with a significant rise to 1.4M.
Bi en Línea by Banco Industrial, S.A. experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of 16.7K towards the end of March. Active users steadily climbed from 836K to over 1M by the end of the quarter.
Banca Móvil BAC showed consistent download activity, with a high of 10.5K in late January. Active users peaked at 487K in February but saw a decline to 373K by the end of March.
Bamapp Personas from Banco Agromercantil de Guatemala S.A. saw a steady growth in active users from 109K to 138K. Weekly downloads peaked at 7.1K in late January before stabilizing around the 4K mark.
Banco Azteca Guatemala maintained stable download numbers, with a peak of 5.7K in late January. Active user numbers hovered consistently around 92K throughout the quarter.
