During the first quarter of 2025, Costa Rica's mobile gaming scene saw interesting trends in the crime games category on a unified platform. Here's a closer look at how the top five crime games performed.

However, weekly active users showed resilience, peaking at around 12.5K in mid-March before slightly decreasing to about 11K by the quarter's close.

Thief Puzzle: to pass a level saw fluctuating download numbers. Downloads were highest at the start of January with 4.2K, dipping mid-quarter, and rising again to approximately 2.8K in early March. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 9.9K, decreasing to 3.9K, and then slightly recovering to 4K by the end of March. Revenue was minimal, with only minor spikes.

Agent Hunt – Hitman Shooter displayed a notable increase in downloads from mid-February, reaching a peak of 3.5K in early March. Active users followed suit, rising from 7.3K at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 11K before settling at 8K. Revenue was negligible throughout the period.

MadOut 2: Grand Auto Racing witnessed a significant surge in downloads in mid-January, peaking at 3.9K, but then steadily declined to 975 by the end of March. Active users saw a similar initial rise, peaking at 5.6K, before decreasing to around 1.9K. Revenue was highest at the start of the quarter with $286, tapering off as the months progressed.

Flex City: Online RP Car Game maintained a stable performance in terms of revenue, consistently generating around $200 weekly throughout the quarter. Downloads fluctuated slightly, beginning at 889 and reaching a high of 1.6K in mid-February. Active users steadily increased from 5.4K to 7.3K by the end of March.
