In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of dating apps in Denmark displayed diverse trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Hinge Dating App: Match & Meet saw a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 3.6K and closing at 2.1K. However, its weekly revenue remained relatively stable, peaking at approximately $28.7K in late March. Weekly active users showed a significant increase, growing from 27.7K to 34.2K by the end of the quarter.
Tinder Dating App: Date & Chat experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, starting at $305K and dipping to $199K mid-quarter before stabilizing around $234K. Downloads saw a slight decline from 2.3K to 1.4K, while active users decreased from 42.4K to 35.1K.
Couple Joy - Relationship App had an interesting trajectory with downloads peaking at 2.3K in January, followed by a decline to 474 by March. Revenue saw a peak of $1.1K in January and settled around $593 by the end of March. Active users peaked at 3.1K in January and ended the quarter at 2.6K.
happn: dating app showed a moderate revenue fluctuation, starting at $14.4K and ending at $12.9K. Downloads remained stable, averaging around 1K weekly, while active users hovered around 10.5K throughout the quarter.
Finally, OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative had a steady revenue increase, closing the quarter at approximately $3.6K. Downloads decreased slightly from 1.2K to 763, and active users maintained a consistent level, starting at 6K and ending at 5.1K.
