In the first quarter of 2025, the top 5 dating applications in Spain experienced varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at each app's performance based on Sensor Tower's data.
Tinder Dating App: Date & Chat by Tinder LLC saw a peak in weekly revenue at around $534K in mid-January, followed by fluctuations, ending March with approximately $373K. Downloads decreased from 29.4K to just under 20K by the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a slight decline from 1.2M to approximately 1.16M.
Azar: Video Chat, Meet Friends from Hyperconnect LLC maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, peaking at about $37K in late March. Downloads, however, declined from 30.8K at the start to around 15.7K by the end of March. Active users initially increased to 139K but settled at around 139K by quarter's end.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative from Bad Kitty's Dad saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $6.8K in the last week of March. Downloads peaked at 29.2K in early February but then decreased to about 13.4K. Active users rose significantly from 14.4K to over 62K during the quarter.
Badoo Dating: Meet New People by Badoo Software Ltd experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, closing March at around $81K. Downloads saw a peak of 17.8K in late January and remained around 14.3K at quarter's close. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 405K before stabilizing at approximately 329K.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date from Bumble Holding Limited showed consistent weekly revenue, ending the quarter with about $118K. Downloads varied, peaking at 17K mid-March and settling at 12.8K. Active users were relatively stable, starting at 406K and ending at around 400K.
