In the first quarter of 2025, the top dating apps in Finland exhibited varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform, encompassing both iOS and Android data. Here's a closer look at each app's performance, based on Sensor Tower's analytics.
Hinge Dating App: Match & Meet showed a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $14.9K in early January and peaking at $15.1K by late March. Downloads increased mid-quarter, reaching around 3.6K by March 24. Active users rose from approximately 60.1K to 66.9K by the end of the quarter.
Tinder Dating App: Date & Chat consistently led the revenue charts, with figures rising from $180K in early January to a peak of $200.9K at the end of March. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to 2.9K in late March. However, active users experienced a gradual decline from 100.5K to 93.1K.
Jodel: Hyperlocal Community saw its revenue grow steadily, peaking at $2.1K in late March. Downloads fluctuated, reaching 2.1K in mid-January and maintaining around 1.7K towards the quarter's end. Active users remained robust, with numbers hovering around 125.3K at the close of the quarter.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative experienced a peak in revenue of $2K by early March. Downloads showed a significant rise in mid-February, reaching 1.6K. Active users increased slightly from 9.2K to 9.3K during the quarter.
Boo — Dating. Friends. Chat. had a modest performance, with revenue peaking at $2.5K in early January before tapering off. Downloads fluctuated, starting strong at 1.3K in early January and decreasing to 774 by the quarter's end. Active users showed a slight rise, ending the quarter at about 5.6K.
