In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of delivered meal kits and specialty foods apps in Ireland showed notable trends across downloads, active users, and revenue. This analysis uses data sourced from Sensor Tower.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery experienced a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 2.7K and peaking at 3.4K in early January, before gradually declining to approximately 2K by the end of March. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users increasing from 42.5K to 42.9K over the quarter.
Vivino: Drink The Right Wine saw its weekly revenue peak at about $406 in late February, while weekly downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 370. Weekly active users showed an upward trend, increasing from 7.1K to over 6K by quarter's end.
DropChef maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 199 and rising to 288 by the end of March. However, there was no significant revenue data available for this period.
Gousto had a modest number of downloads, with occasional spikes, such as 39 downloads in mid-February. Active users were limited, with numbers peaking at 64 in the same period before stabilizing around 25 by March.
Calo - كالو displayed minimal download activity, peaking at 12 in early January. Active user numbers remained consistent, fluctuating slightly around the 80 mark throughout the quarter.
