In the first quarter of 2025, the top dining and restaurant applications on the unified platform in Sweden demonstrated varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Max Express, published by Max Burgers AB, saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 5K at the beginning of January and peaking at over 18K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, rising from around 13.5K to 24.5K during the same period.
McDonald’s - Non-US experienced consistent weekly download numbers, ranging from 6K to over 12K throughout the quarter. Active users remained strong, fluctuating between 187K and 217K, indicating a steady engagement with the app.
Pinchos maintained a stable download rate, with weekly figures hovering around 3.5K to 5.5K. The app's active users showed a slight decrease, from around 17K at the start of January to 15.7K by the end of March.
Sushi Yama experienced a spike in downloads in early January, reaching 6.7K, but saw a decline to approximately 1.3K by the end of the quarter. Active user data for this app was not available for analysis.
Lastly, Burger King Sverige had a modest download performance, with weekly figures ranging from about 2.3K to 3K. The app's active user count remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 3.3K and 4K throughout Q1.
